Don't Feel Bad. Feel Glad!

 Don't Feel Bad. Feel Glad!

I don’t know about you, but lately, all I hear is about MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE! Ofcourse, I enjoy hearing other people's success stories and I don't mean just in financial terms. I love it when people are able to impact lives positively or even correct a wrong in the society.
We hear it all the time – if you can see it, then you'd have it! So it becomes increasingly frustrating when your dreams don't come true. Take me for instance, I have always known that in the long run, sitting in an office working on someone else’s dream wasn’t going to suit me .But until I'm able to add small actions to that desire, I might as well be day-dreaming :)

So, I would like to share with you some things I have learnt from some successful people I have come across and read about:
Set Your Priorities Right
Make choices about the activities in your life. Focus on doing things that give fun, satisfying and fulfilling to you.Your choices should be based on the lifestyle you want.

Be Efficient
You don't do everything well. There are things you are particularly good at. So learn to recognize the scope of your dreams and practice saying no to opportunities that are outside the scope of your dreams.

Plan Your Activities
Find people who share common interests and are knowledgeable about your dreams. Make researches and choose to limit non-supportive interactions that don't energize or inspire you. And be willing to learn.

Having said all these, I want you to know that, sometimes, no matter what we do or don’t do, our dreams may not come true at the time we want. And you know what? Instead of feeling miserable; I want you to be at peace. No, I'm not asking you to be okay with failure. I mean, your life is to be enjoyed, not ‘only when you’ve achieved that dream’. You can keep trying but your happiness should not be based on external circumstances."Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down:for the LORD upholdeth him in his hand." Psalm 37:24
Have yourselves a beautiful day!

Much love,
Ibe
